The food was delicious and the service was excellent. It's a nice, cozy place, add in the Peruvian music and it just makes me feel like I'm back home. I'll definitely be back soon and next time, I'll take pictures to post.
The Lomo Saltado is always great. Tender, juicy, lots of flavor. The chicken saltado is also good. Their green spaghetti which is tañarin is very good. They serve it with a grilled chicken. Great combination. Prices are worth the plate. They now give you dinner rolls with the plates.
Everything! Had the Saltado de Pollo; it came with a warm bread and aji (right amount of spicy ). Small, clean and good service. First time, not our last.
My friend wanted to check out this hole in the wall Peruvian joint on a recent Sunday evening. This is a very small place with only about 5 tables. My friend and I sat literally next to the cash register. We shared the pollo saltado and the seafood mix ceviche. They are out of chicha morada that day, and also the AC was not working. We were quite warm! The chicken saltado was tasty. TBH many Peruvian places makes this dish way too salty, but here it was just right. I don't eat spicy but my friend enjoyed it with the house green sauce with this dish. The seafood mix ceviche had fish, shrimp, and calamari rings. The taste was very flavorful. The only downside is if you try to bite into the calamari ring, the rubbery part is not chewable/breakable at all. My friend and I were playing chew the "rubber band". Hopefully I can order dish minus the calamari rings next time. The lady who managed all the customers at the tables was super friendly, courteous, and refilled our water couple times.
The bread was soft and warm. Delicious. All the food was excellent especially the seafood sauce. Cozy restaurant, not fancy with about 5 tables. Service was quick.
Once upon a time, during Covid , while I was still playing online games, I met a teammate who was a chef from Colombia, currently miserablely working at a fast food joint in Australia. He shared with me that it took him two years to perfect his Lomo Saltado when he went to Peru to learn the cousin . I don't keep in touch with him anymore, but whenever I eat Peruvian food, I think of him.later my alliance had a bully whos also from Peru, he w As rude and had a temper. Unfortunately, Peruvian cuisine is hard to find in Taiwan, where the food diversity isn't that great. On the other hand, this a small but welcoming restaurant in Pico Rivera that I really enjoy.
My wife and I came in craving Maria Sabina Oaxacan cuisine. We were chocked to see a new Peruvian restaurant and Maria Sabina long longer in business ( wish them well ) Let me share my experience Waitres Adamaris -Very friendly, courteous Restaurant clean all the way and good ? O M G - The best in town Delicious I highly recommended this place - Awesome Keep up the good job
Nice clean place, the service was very nice and the ambiance was great I ordered to go I love the food and the chicha morada it's a drink
Delicious food!! So far I've tried lomo saltado and papá huancaina. The lomo was tender! I loved the sauce, so much flavor! The papa was yummmmyy and saucy. Fresh food. Very happy here so far. Also, staff are very nice! The place is clean and colorful.
I went to the 7-11 next door and walked past this place. I looked on Yelp and noticed the awesome lunch specials. I decided to try it out. I ordered the aji de gallina to try. They gave me the lunch special price so it was awesome! It came with bread + butter, soup, soda/drink, and the entree. It was a lot of food! I was so full even after the soup! The aji de gallina is good but reminded me of a tuna casserole. Waitress was nice and it was a hole in the wall joint.
